Connery turns up for Connolly bash

Actor Sean Connery and TV chatshow host Michael Parkinson were among the guests of comedian Billy Connolly at a Highland games spectacle this evening.

The stars joined the Scots funnyman at the Lonach Gathering and Highland Games in Strathdon, Aberdeenshire, for a day of traditional entertainment and fayre.

Connolly, or “the Big Yin” has he is known, has a home close by and traditionally invites a crowd of celebrity friends to join him at the local Highland event.
