Axed TV star Michael Barrymore is taking another step to rehabilitate his career by taking on his first movie role, he disclosed today.

Axed TV star Michael Barrymore is taking another step to rehabilitate his career by taking on his first movie role, he disclosed today.

The entertainer – who was dumped by ITV last year as his private life overshadowed his work – is to appear as a hardman in a British film which begins production next year.
