Ricki Lake separates from husband

US talk show host Ricki Lake and her husband of nine years, Rob Sussman, have filed for a separation, according to Los Angeles court documents.

The couple filed for a legal separation on August 13, the documents showed.

The 34-year-old has hosted the syndicated Ricki Lake show since 1993.

She and her husband lived in New York for eight years before moving earlier this year to Los Angeles.

They have two boys, Milo, six, and Owen, two.
