Scary Movie 3 closes to get more jokes

Filming of Scary Movie 3 closed down for two weeks so that the comedy spoof could incorporate topical jokes about the Matrix and The Hulk, reports USA Today.

The film reportedly lampoons everything from The Matrix Reloaded to Michael Jackson and the whole horror genre.

“I’m glad they keep making those horror movies,” said producer Bob Weinstein.

“It gives us plenty of material.”

Scary Movie 3, about an alien invasion, stars Charlie Sheen and Leslie Nielsen and is directed by veteran slapstick filmmaker David Zucker, who worked with Nielsen on Naked Gun.
