Kelly cancels Euro tour dates

Singer and fly-on-the-wall TV star Kelly Osbourne has cancelled her European tour due to “health reasons”, it was announced today.

The daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne had a string of shows lined up including the V2003 festivals this weekend and T On The Fringe in Edinburgh tomorrow.

A spokeswoman for the teenager apologised for the cancellations, but could not elaborate on the reasons.

A statement issued on the singer’s behalf said Kelly had cancelled the rest of her European tour up to September.

It added: “This is due to health reasons. Many apologies to all concerned.”

Just a matter of weeks ago her brother Jack checked into a rehab clinic in the US.

Kelly found worldwide fame when her family agreed to appear in the MTV show The Osbournes.

Within months she had launched a singing career, scoring a hit last year with a cover of Madonna’s Papa Don’t Preach.

She was recently dropped by the label which signed her, but has continued to perform. She was on the bill for Robbie Williams’s recent date at the Phoenix Park.

Kelly had been due to present this week’s edition of BBC1 music show Top Of The Pops.

And next month she was to round off her live appearances buy joining her dad Ozzy for his shows at Wembley Arena in London and at Birmingham’s NEC.
