Leslie's lady hits out at Ulrika's behaviour

Cleared television presenter John Leslie’s loyal girlfriend lashed out today at the “confusing” way Ulrika Jonsson behaved over allegations against him.

Abi Titmuss, who supported Leslie during his 10-month ordeal, told the Daily Express she will never be able to understand Jonsson’s handling of the matter.

The 27-year-old nurse said: “My reaction was and still is why, why, why? Why did this thing that she’s put in her book all come down on John? Why did she refuse to make any comment?”

She added that she had never met the former weather girl.

In her autobiography, Jonsson claimed she was date-raped when she was 19 by a young television presenter whom she did not name. She has refused to identify him since.

Jonsson is to marry Lance Gerrard-Wright in Sweden on August 16.

As she flew to her native Sweden yesterday, she told the Daily Express she was not running away from anyone or anything and that the trip had been booked months ago.
