135,000 expected to attend Robbie Williams gig
The promotion firm MCD has claimed that this Saturday's Robbie Williams concert in the Phoenix Park will be the largest event there since the Pope's visit in 1979.
135,000 tickets for the concert have already been purchased.
More than one million people packed the Phoenix Park when Pope John Paul II visited Ireland 24 years ago.
The largest single attendance at a concert in Ireland to date was the 95,000 who attended Queen's gig at Slane Castle in 1986.
