Rachel proud of her sizzling new look

Rachel Stevens has posed for her most revealing pictures of her career.

Clad only in a tiny skirt and a pair of leather gloves, the pop beauty unveiled her sizzling new look for the front cover of men's magazine Arena.

The 25-year-old, twice voted Britain's Sexiest Woman, is now aiming herself at a more adult audience.

She has signed a £1m (€1.4m) with Polydor and says her new sound will be "funkier, older and more edgy" than S Club.

Stevens, who is engaged to former Holby City star Jeremy Edwards, said she was delighted with the results of the revealing photoshoot.

"I couldn't believe it was me when I saw them, they're amazing. I've never seen myself looking like that in pictures," Stevens said.

She added the public had not been able to see "the real me" during her time in S Club.

"It's not like we were ever told what we could or couldn't say, but you had to be aware that we had a very young fan base," she explained.

Although her new style will be a departure from S Club, she insisted she was "really proud" of their music. Stevens' debut solo single, written by Cathy Dennis, is released in the autumn.
