'Everything's fine' insists Kylie's boyfriend

Popstar Kylie Minogue’s boyfriend turned up to the premiere of his latest movie alone – but insisted everything was “fine” between the couple.

Rumours that Olivier Martinez, 37, had become too close to Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie had fuelled speculation that his relationship with the pop princess had hit the rocks.

The French star, who has been dating Minogue for five months, had been spotted on a string of outings with Jolie, who recently divorced actor Billy Bob Thornton.

Miss Minogue, 35, had reportedly flown to Canada, where Martinez and Jolie are making the film Taking Lives, to confront her boyfriend over his apparent relationship with the actress.

She, however, jetted back to Britain before last night’s premiere – leaving Martinez to walk up the red carpet alone.

But the actor played down any rumours of a split as he arrived at the Los Angeles premiere of the new Colin Farrell movie S.W.A.T, in which he co-stars.

He told a GMTV reporter: “She was here yesterday. Come on, everything’s fine, forget about me.”

The couple enjoyed a whirlwind romance after meeting each other in a Los Angeles hotel lobby in February.

She had previously dated model James Gooding during a stormy three-year on-off relationship which ended in bitterness when he disclosed intimate details of their love life in a newspaper.
