Heartthrobs may take over from Banderas

Speculation is rife over who will replace Antonio Banderas in the Broadway musical Nine when he leaves in October, sooner than observers expected but within his contract obligations.

Singing heartthrobs Marc Anthony, Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin have all been mentioned for the role of the womanising director, although Broadway-watchers believe they are all too young for the role of the seasoned Italian roue.
