Red-neck festival attracts hundreds

The first ever “Redneck-a-palooza”, a country and western music festival, has been held in Springfield, Illinois.

For the men, there was a “best mullet” haircut contest, while women entered the Daisy Duke competition to see who most resembled the feisty Dukes of Hazzard character known for her cut-off shorts.
