Zellweger wows pals with Joplin impression
There’s been a lot of nay saying about diminutive ‘Chicago’ star Renee Zellweger’s next role as 60’s musical legend Janis Joplin.
Critics just don’t think her voice will be up to the challenge.
Renee has been practising her heart out to nail down the whisky-voiced sound of Joplin but she recently took some time out to host a party for her pals.
She was playing the tragic singer’s recordings, according to the National Enquirer, when a guest said: “Janis sounds great.”
Renee said: “That’s me!” and grinned ear to ear as jaws dropped around the room.
All that practising must be paying off.
