Steph first to go on Big Brother finale

Steph Smith, 28, became the first person to be evicted from the Big Brother house tonight in the dramatic finale of the TV reality show.

She looked disappointed and glanced at her housemates for support – Ray, Scott and Cameron.

She then thanked Davina and before leaving the house kissed and hugged the other house mates.

“My legs are like jelly. Oh my God, it’s happening!” she squealed.

She screamed and whooped when greeted by hundreds of cheering fans outside the Big Brother house.

And once outside, her mother and father ran to Steph and hugged and kissed her.

Jon, who was voted back into the house on condition he could not win the £70,000 prize, left before the voting closed.

Cleaning fanatic Steph spent most of her nine weeks in the fly-on-the-wall show mopping, sweeping and dusting.

But the visual merchandiser, from Redditch in the West Midlands, managed a hint of romance in between cleaning duties, exchanging lip-smackers with her fellow contestants.

Viewers were treated to shots of Steph locking lips with Cameron, Ray and even Nush during an alcohol-fuelled evening of leprechaun-themed fun and games of spin the bottle.

She even told Lisa that she would like to have a lesbian experience after the Welsh blonde said she had enjoyed two.

But it was with the Orkney fish trader, Cameron, that romance seemed to blossom.

It may not have been love at first sight, but their affection for each other grew stronger in their final hours together.

Cameron and Steph cemented their affection for one another discussing birthmarks and discovered they both have them in the same place – on their bottoms.

Steph also admitted Cameron was her favourite to win the show.

“He’s different, he’s honest but likes to be a bit indifferent at the same time.

“I firmly believe he’s come here for a good experience, and he’ll go back to Orkney and enjoy the rest of his life.

“He hasn’t come here for any gain other than the experience, which is why I think he deserves to win,” she told Big Brother in the Diary Room.

Vegetarian Steph is separated from husband Stacey Coldicott, a footballer with Grimsby Town.

The main love of her life is dog Ronnie, a four-year-old Labrador cross, who sent her a video message shown on her birthday in the house.
