Osbourne tour manager found dead
Ozzy Osbourne's Scottish tour manager has been found dead in a Michigan hotel room.
Bobby Thomson, 50, appeared to have died during his sleep at the Townsend Hotel in a Detroit suburb, doctors said.
Thomson had battled throat cancer for 18 months. Born in Wallyford, Lothian, he lived in California and is survived by his wife Terri and two sons aged 19 and 10.
Osbourne and his entourage were in Michigan for the Ozzfest music festival.
"We are devastated by the loss of our dear friend Bobby," Osbourne said.
"He has been a part of our family for 23 years and loved very much. He will by greatly missed by all of us.
"Our sincerest sympathies go out to the Thomson family."
