Scottish actor can't believe his luck

Gerard Butler still finds it hard to believe Andrew Lloyd Webber and director Joel Schumacher picked him to star in the film version of the hit musical Phantom Of The Opera.

“I’m not much of a singer,” the Scottish actor confessed to journalists in New York. “I had sung in a band for fun but I certainly hadn’t sung this sort of stuff before.”
