Brosnan to get OBE this morning

James Bond star and Irishman Pierce Brosnan will be awarded the Queen of England's OBE award in the British embassy in Dublin later today.

While Navan-born Brosnan may be a James Bond hero, he is also known for his behind the scenes work with various charities and as a patron of UNICEF Ireland.

Mr Brosnan will receive the award from the British ambassador Stewart Eldon before noon today.
