Stars lined up for final Sex and the City season

There will be some new faces in New York City for the final season of the hit series Sex And The City, according to the show’s producers.

Former X-Files star David Duchovny is joining the cast for at least four episodes and is expected to play a potential suitor for Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw character and a possible problem for Carrie’s on-off flame Mr Big.

Oscar winner Tatum O'Neill is also joining the series as Carrie’s friend, a baby photographer and former LA Law star Blair Underwood has signed on to have a fling with one of the four girls later this summer, confirmed a spokesman for the HBO cable network, which produces the series.
