Kelly Osbourne to play Alice character

Kelly Osbourne is to make her movie debut in a remake of Alice in Wonderland - called Malice in Sunderland.

The teenage daughter of rocker Ozzy has just signed up for the lead role in the low-budget film.

Described as a “contemporary reworking of Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland”, the movie will be set in the North East.

It is directed by newcomer Simon Fellows and is scheduled to start shooting at the end of the year.

Kelly, 18, shot to fame along with the rest of her family in MTV’s reality show The Osbournes.

She has since launched a pop career and is supporting Robbie Williams on his UK tour.
