I'm looking for a wife, says Robbie
Robbie Williams has told how he has given up casual sex and is finally ready for a proper relationship.
The star said that he has always dated women whom he would find it easy to leave until now.
In an interview with music magazine Q, 29-year-old Williams said he was now keen to find a wife and had already named the first of their two future children
āThe first oneās going to be called Sunny whether itās a boy or a girl,ā said the singer.
Williams said there were plenty of opportunities for sex in his adopted home of Los Angeles and admitted he used to be āa little terrorā.
But he said: āThatās subsided over the past couple of years because along with soulless sex comes self-hatred.ā
Speaking about LA, he said: āI could have a lot of sex here. But thereās no wife, which is what I want.ā
The singer, who has just kicked off his European tour, claimed he would love a girlfriend ābecause Iām readyā.
āI donāt think I was up to it before. You just wouldnāt have gone out with me. I chose women I could leave.
āBut Iām close now to my ideal of what a man should be in a relationship, and thatās honest.
āYou can lie forever and I donāt want that,ā he told the August edition of Q, which is on sale tomorrow.
In the past Williams has dated stars such as Nicole Appleton, now the partner of Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, and actress Anna Friel.
