Thousands of music lovers were today gearing up for the start of the Glastonbury Festival.

Thousands of music lovers were today gearing up for the start of the Glastonbury Festival.

Some 150,000 people were expected at the site in Pilton, Somerset, for the music event, which starts today and finishes on Sunday.
