Branagh to star alongside Izzard
Kenneth Branagh, who stole the second Harry Potter film as the vain Gilderoy Lockhart, is a busy man these days.
Not only is he about to open in the British National Theatre production of David Mamet's stage play, Edmond, but he's set to star alongside comic Eddie Izzard in a E25m children's film.
In Five Children and It, based on the classic by E. Nesbit, writer of The Railway Children and set for shooting in the Isle of Man in July, Branagh plays the uncle of a group of children staying in a strange seaside house where they dig up a 8,000-year-old sand fairy.
