A role fit for an Irish star
If ever a role was made for a star it's surely that of legendary Irish king, Brian Boru - played by, of course, Liam Neeson.
It's just a pipedream at the moment, but recently-formed Dublin production outfit River Films have as one of their four feature projects Warrior King, about Boru, as well as John Banville's Harm's Way.
The company announced recently at the Cannes Film Festival that former Head of Drama at Ulster Television - alas a station with a low reputation for actually doing any drama - and Artistic Director of the now-defunct Belfast Arts Theatre, Roy Heayberd, would be joining the company.
