Alley bound for Calgary

Cheers star Kirstie Alley is filming in Canada over the summer.

Alley, who starred opposite Ted Danson in the popular '80s sitcom, will be in Calgary, Alberta next month to shoot the CBS TV movie A Matter of Family, sources confirm.

The drama is based on the true story of a Rhode Island foster mother who used her kids to steal and defraud insurance companies.

Cameras begin rolling on the project the beginning of July.
