Furious Tania has threatened to quit the Big Brother house because newcomer Gaetano nicknamed her “Piggy”.
The African charmer reduced her to tears by joking about the amount of food she eats.
The housemates were having a late-night chat in the living room when Gae gave Tania the uncomplimentary nickname.
“I don’t mean it in a bad way, but you eat a lot,” he said.
Tania looked uneasy and tried to laugh it off by saying: “Gaetano has only met me today and feels confident enough to call me a piggy.”
But Gae didn’t leave it there and told the group: “She’s a woman who enjoys her food.”
Clearly furious, the wannabe It girl warned: “Shut up now, because I’m going to cry.”
She then fled to the bedroom where she woke Steph and began bawling her eyes out.
“I’m not staying in the house with him. I really want to get out,” she sobbed.
Peacemaker Nush followed her into the bedroom and tried to comfort her.
“Maybe because he’s from a totally different country, he doesn’t understand the connotations of calling you a pig,” she said.
Trying to explain Gae’s tactless comments, she said: “You are beautiful. You are breathtaking. The boys can’t handle it. Federico half-hated and half-fancied you. You’re getting a lot of mixed messages.”
Gae, a contestant on African Big Brother, arrived in the house yesterday in a swap with Cameron.
The Ugandan law student was also celebrating his 31st birthday and the housemates threw a party complete with balloons and cake.
He has already spiced up the African show by romping underneath the blankets with one of the girls.
And last night he shared his relaxed attitude to sex with the British housemates – raising hopes there may finally be some action on the show.
Tucking into a roast dinner, he announced: “After we’ve eaten and drunk, we’ll have good sex.”
Nush took the opportunity to tell him about the prize a newspaper has offered for the first Big Brother bonk.
She sounded horrified but a bemused-looking Gae asked: “What’s the problem?”
When Scott told him, “We’re Brits”, Gae said: “It’s being a human being with sexual urges.”
Tania huffed: “You’ve still got to fancy the person.”
But Gae countered: “You don’t have to sleep with someone you fancy, let’s be realistic.”
