Abba star's ex-lover gets Swedish boot

The former lover of blonde Abba star Agnetha Faeltskog faces deportation from Sweden after he was arrested on her island hideaway near Stockholm.

Gert van der Graaf, 37, was held on Sunday night on the island of Ekeroe where Faeltskog has a home, said police spokesman Haakan Magneville.

Reclusive Faeltskog, 53, dated van der Graaf from 1997-1999.

A restraining order was issued against him in 2000, barring him from trying see or talk to the former Abba vocalist, and he was deported to the Netherlands.

He returned earlier this year to see her and was arrested after Faeltskog’s neighbours saw him near her home.

“I love her still. I will never forget,” he said yesterday.

Faeltskog divorced Abba band mate Bjoern Ulvaeus, with whom she had two children, in 1978.

It wasn’t known if van der Graaf would be deported again.
