Soprano star taking care of family
Soprano’s star James Gandolfini is taking care of his television family to the tune of €425,000, says the Hollywood Reporter.
Gandolfini, who was involved in deep negotiations earlier this year over salary for his role as Tony Soprano in the hit series, has given five figure cheques to more than a dozen fellow cast members, according to the newspaper.
The actor, who recently received his first advance from the HBO cable television network on his share of profits from The Sopranos, reportedly wanted to acknowledge that the show’s success hinges on the strength of its ensemble cast.
