Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana has been named the greatest song of the last 25 years by VH1.

While no one artist or group dominated the top 100, which were chosen by executives from the satellite TV channel, several had two songs on the list.

Michael Jackson was second with Billie Jean, and was also 40th with Beat It.

Eminem reached number four with Lose Yourself, while his My Name Is was 85th.

Madonna’s Like a Virgin was 10th and her Ray of Light was 100th.
