Goddard is US bound

Granada Television executives are banking on talk show host Trisha Goddard to strike it big in America and are syndicating her show across the US.

Goddard is described by Daily Variety as someone “who serves up straight talk based on her training as psychotherapist and her own battles with depression“.

Granada executive Curt Northrup believes because she is from outside the US she will be able to reach American audiences in a unique way.

“She doesn’t have the restraints someone who’s from the US might have,” he tells Variety. “She can tell it like it is without being so politically correct.”
