Broadway hit coming to the big screen

Variety reports that Universal Studios will be bringing Mel Brook’s hit Broadway musical, The Producers, to the big screen.

While no deals have yet been made, it is believed that the play's original co-stars, Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick and will also star in the film adaptation.
