BB housemates survive on beans and toast

Suffering Big Brother housemates will be surviving on beans on toast for the next week after ordering their meagre rations today.

Federico bungled the weekly task for a second time, which means the 11-strong group have to get by on a budget of just £36.23 (€50.69) over the coming days.

The Glaswegian has sheepishly failed to confess he is to blame for bungling the challenge and has been avoiding the group.

Their shopping list contains 21 tins of economy baked beans and 21 loaves of brown bread.

Other items include three carrots, eight packs of sausages and one of veggie sausages, a lump of cheese, four tins of tuna and a jar of lemon curd.

However chef Gos intends to pad out the diet by baking bread.

The group – who will lose one of their number on eviction night tomorrow - have invested in three packs of loo roll.

Federico failed the task by reciting the wrong Cub Scout oath. He was also responsible for the error which meant they bungled the first challenge last week.

He has been keeping his guilty secret by keeping away from the others as tensions rose today about their imminent rumbling tummies.

Federico hid under his duvet until lunchtime today despite being wide awake.

He eventually slipped from his cover but tried desperately to avoid eye contact with his housemates.

As they talked about food he kept in the background and then headed to the bathroom, wasting as much time as he could, before heading back to the bedroom to look at family photos.

Worried about her lack of food intake, Tania told the others: “I feel like if someone was to just blow me, I’d fly away.”

“I’ve got nothing in my stomach. There is no food in there.”

Then turning on the theatrics, she added: “I am going to die. And so is everybody else.”
