Rush to star in Sellers biopic

Oscar-winning actor Geoffrey Rush has begun filming a new HBO movie, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, in London.

He is playing Peter Sellers, star of the Pink Panther series, Being There and Dr Strangelove.

Charlize Theron plays his second wife, Britt Ekland.

The film explores Sellers and Ekland’s stormy four year marriage which ended in divorce in 1968.

Sellers died of a heart attack at the age of 50 in 1980.
