Beckhams steal show at awards bash
Posh Spice Victoria Beckham and her husband David stole the show at a star-studded Hollywood movie awards ceremony today.
The pair sent fans wild with delight when they arrived in stunning matching white outfits for the MTV Movie Awards, 2003, in Los Angeles.
The Beckham’s were there to present Irish wildman actor Colin Farrell with an award for Best Transatlantic Breakthrough.
Justin Timberlake, Eminem and Samuel L Jackson also graced the event in central LA.
But it was Britain’s own celebrity pair, who sent fans wild. The crowd shouted “We love you David” and chanted “Manchester United.”
Victoria revealed a fuller figure in a sheer white dress complete with a low-cut, off-the-shoulder bustier-type top that was studded with diamonds.
David ditched his corn-braid hairstyle for a swept-back look and sported rough-look film star stubble.
The England captain wore a white casual linen suit with open-neck white shirt for the event which finished at 8am British time.
Both wore silver and diamonds with Becks adorning himself with a big silver diamond crucifix over his shirt.
The Manchester United star had his right arm in a plaster cast to heal his broken wrist – also of course in matching white.
One onlooker said: “The crowd went absolutely wild when Posh and Becks arrived outside for the ceremony. They have a lot of fans Stateside.”
Another added: “When David and Victoria were on the red carpet all the crowd were shouting their names. All the big American TV networks wanted to speak to them – they did hundreds of interviews. They were well recognised.”
Britain’s number one celebrity couple received a huge round of applause when they appeared on stage to hand over the award at The Shrine Auditorium, LA.
Posh Spice announced the nominees, including Jude Law, Keira Knightly, Orlando Bloom and Rosamund Pike, for the MTV UK and Ireland Transatlantic Breakthrough Award Winner.
She then revealed the winner, Colin Farrell, who kissed her before accepting the award to a round of applause.

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers won the best movie award and Kirsten Dunst the best actress award for her role in Spider-Man.
