Madonna purchases Beverly Hills home

MADONNA, who rails against the shallowness of consumer culture in her song American Life, has just spent £7m (€9.77m) on a new home in Beverly Hills, reports the New York Daily News.

She and husband Guy Ritchie have bought the 11,600 square foot mansion with seven bedrooms and 15 bathrooms from actress Sela Ward.
