‘Friends’ star has near miss

Matt Perry of ‘Friends’ fame is in London to perform in the stage play "Sexual Perversity in Chicago".

Between performances he gets out and about exploring the city and recently had a near miss with the busy London traffic.

Like many Yanks he made that common mistake when stepping off a curb he looked in the wrong direction. A bus slammed on its brakes, screeching to a halt and just tagged the star hard enough to send him sprawling.

The horrified driver and passengers poured out of the bus and surrounded Matt as he got groggily to his feet. He was dazed but insisted he was fine to the small crowd and took off down the street; embarrassed but healthy.
