Ireland finishes 11th at Eurovision

Turkey has won the Eurovision after a closely fought battle between controversial contest favourites Russia and Belgium.

The winning song, "Every Way I Can", was sung by a belly-dancing Sertab Erener.

Ireland's entry, sung by Mickey Joe Harte, finished in 11th place, while the United Kingdom were the only entry to end the competition scoreless.
