J Lo sued over Carmen film idea

Jennifer Lopez is being sued for £3m (€4.2m) by a Hollywood director who claims she stole his idea for a film based on the opera Carmen.

Adam Shankman alleges he told the actress-singer that she would be perfect in a big screen adaptation of the romantic tragedy when he directed her in the 2001 movie, The Wedding Planner.
