Gwyneth drops out of movie to grieve for dad
Gwyneth Paltrow's decision to drop out of another film, in order to grieve the loss of her father, has provided an opportunity for rising British-born star Naomi Watts.
After being replaced in Happy Endings by Jennifer Garner, she has opened the door for Watts to take over from her in I Love Huckabee’s, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Watts will begin work on the project as soon as she finishes The Assassination Of Richard Nixon, in which she stars with Sean Penn.
In I Love Huckabee’s she will play a woman involved in a love triangle with two men, played by Jude Law and Mark Wahlberg.
Paltrow’s father, director Bruce Paltrow, died in October while the actress was working on the film Ted And Sylvia, about the lives of the poets Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath.
