007 star fitted with pacemaker
James Bond star Roger Moore left hospital today after undergoing surgery to be fitted with a pacemaker.
The 75-year-old actor and Unicef goodwill ambassador spent two nights in a New York hospital suffering from dehydration and exhaustion after collapsing on stage during a Broadway show.
Mary Cahill of Unicef, who spoke to the star this morning, said: “He’s feeling very well, but a little fragile.
“He feels very lucky that it happened where it did because he was able to get excellent medical treatment.”
