Ireland role revival for Lansbury
Murder, She Wrote star Angela Lansbury has revived her role as amateur sleuth Jessica Fletcher for a new film set in Ireland.
The actress, 77, plays the crime-solving mystery writer in The Celtic Riddle, based on the novel by Canadian author Lyn Hamilton.
Universal Studios constructed an entire fictional Irish village named Ballymure in Los Angeles for the film, which airs on US television this week.
Lansbury, who played Fletcher in the Murder, She Wrote series for 12 years until 1996, says she still finds the character both endearing and annoying.
