Liza denies that she's nearly broke

Liza Minnelli is planning a lavish party in London to celebrate her husband DAVID GEST’s birthday on May 9.

Her present to him will be a new Mercedes-Benz and she has designed a six feet tall birthday cake for the party, which will be held at the London House with a guest list of international stars and nobility.
