Kenneth Branagh's production of the smash-hit stage drama, The Play What I Wrote, based on the life and times of legendary comedy duo Morcambe and Wise, has opened to rave reviews on New York's Broadway.

Branagh's little black book of star names has proved useful in attracting publicity.

The play is famous for attracting a host of stars on stage for cameo roles - he got Roger Moore to appear in the Belfast production - and a call to fellow Northern Ireland-man Liam Neeson has got him on the Stateside stage.
