Nail care in the jungle!

Ex-EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook today told of her big fear as she heads out for the Australian jungle – how to maintain her nails.

The 29-year-old is set to appear in the new series of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in her first major job since beating her drug habit.

Today Danniella, who had surgery to rebuild the inside of her nose after the 12-year cocaine addiction destroyed her septum, said she would make an appointment with her manicurist as soon as she exits the hit ITV1 show.

“I know exactly where she is when I get back. She will be the first person I see when I get back to London,” she said.

The blonde told GMTV she was prepared for the challenge of living out in the jungle.

“I have two small children, two Dobermans. I’m always out in the garden or up the stables getting messy.”

Danniella, who played the original Sam Butcher in EastEnders, said overcoming her drug habit had given her a new lease of life.

“There is so much more to life, I don’t drink now and I wake up in the morning feeling fantastic.

“I never have a fuzzy head or a headache. I wake up full of life and I love that feeling.

“There is so much more to life, to see and learn. Everything is great, it couldn’t be better.”

Her drug problems were “definitely over and done with,” she added.

The star is set to appear in a Government-led anti-drugs campaign for youngsters later this year.

Speaking about drugs, she said: “It’s not exciting, it strips you of your personality, strips you of your confidence, and makes you boring, lonely and paranoid.”

Danniella will leave her six-year-old son Kai and 18-month-old daughter Jodie B at home with millionaire husband Kevin Jenkins, 35, when she heads out for the show.
