Osbourne matriarch brawls again

Police are investigating a brawl between Sharon Osbourne, the matriarch of the reality television series The Osbournes, and a talent agent in a Hollywood restaurant.

The agent, Renee Tab, claims Osbourne spat at her. Osbourne says Tab hit her in the face. Los Angeles detectives say they are trying to sort it out.

“Two reports were taken of a mutual battery,” said Sgt John Pasquariello of the Los Angeles police department. “One woman says Sharon Osbourne spat on her and Sharon said the other woman struck her in the face.”

Police said the flashpoint for the incident appeared to be a lingering dispute over an expensive raffle prize Tab won at a New Year’s Eve party thrown by Sharon and her husband Ozzy Osbourne.

According to authorities, Tab won a diamond necklace worth at least €14,000, but in a police report filed after the event, the Osbournes said the raffle was for invited guests and that Tab had not been invited.
