Zeta Jones and Douglas thrilled at court decision

Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas have welcomed a court decision in their favour in their privacy battle against Hello! Magazine.

In a joint statement the couple said: "We deeply appreciate that the court has recognised the principle that every individual has the right to be protected from excessive and unwanted media intrusion into their private lives."

The amount of damages will be assessed at a further hearing. The couple are claiming £500,000 (€728,000) and OK! £1.75m (€2.5m).
