Light-footed Lopez considers new dance role

Jennifer Lopez is talking with British director Peter Chelsom about starring with Richard Gere in Chelsom’s romantic comedy Shall We Dance? according to the Hollywood Reporter newspaper.

In the romantic comedy, which is a remake of a 1996 Japanese film, Gere would play a man who takes ballroom dancing lessons to impress a beautiful young dance teacher.
