Farrell heads to Canada on next project

With his film Phone Booth at the top of the U.S. box office charts, Colin Farrell is heading to Toronto later this week to begin work on his next project.

The hell-raising Dubliner is to star in A Home At The End Of The World, the big-screen adaptation of the novel by The Hours author Michael Cunningham.

Farrell is joined by Sissy Spacek, Robin Wright Penn and newcomer Dallas Roberts in the story of boyhood friends who become involved in an emotional love triangle with the woman they move in with in New York.

Farrell made Phone Booth two years ago and it has remained on the shelf until now, during which time Farrell became a star through films like Minority Report and Daredevil.

He also became a regular item in the gossip columns because of his drinking and womanising.

“If I’m not going to enjoy this life, just give it to someone else,” he told journalists in New York.
