Hudson may star in British thriller

Kate Hudson is talking with British director Iain Softley about starring in his thriller The Skeleton Key which is due to go into production in the autumn, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Hudson, who is currently filming the comedy Raising Helen, would play a caretaker working with an elderly couple in their New Orleans home, which is the site of mysterious happenings.

Softley, who directed Wings Of The Dove, describes the project as “The Ring” meets “The Sixth Sense”, says the newspaper.
