Court hears of Evans' last radio days

A lager-fuelled attack on management by Chris Evans during his breakfast show triggered his break-up with Virgin Radio, it was alleged at the UK High Court today.

Geoffrey Vos QC, representing the Scottish Media Group chiefs Evans is suing for unfair dismissal, was asking the former television presenter and DJ about the events of June 6, 2001 when he tried to stay on air all day.
