Celebrity Fame Academy’s three remaining stars are tonight battling to stay in the show after Smack the Pony comedienne Doon MacKichan was evicted.
The funnygirl made a tearful exit last night after polling the least votes in the Comic Relief programme.
Doon, who sang My Baby Just Cares For Me, was only drafted in at the last minute after French ex-footballer David Ginola dropped out.
The comedienne choked back tears as she told her fellow celebrities: “It’s been a miracle being here, see you on Friday.”
The public voted to save Casualty stars Will Mellor and Kwame Kwei-Armah after last night’s performances.
The pair were deadlocked over whether to keep Doon or Ruby Wax in the academy.
Under the rules, the person who received the fewest public votes was evicted - and that turned out to be Doon.
She told Ruby: “It’s absolutely right, you’ve pulled it out of the bag every single time.”
Earlier in the week, tensions rose between Doon and Ulrika Jonsson and the Smack the Pony Star was reduced to tears after a row.
But she said after last night’s show they had made up and Ulrika has even invited her to stay at her holiday home in Sweden.
She said: “After our little spat, I felt very upset and had a bit of a cry. But that night we got drunk on cocktails and made up and I think she’s a phenomenal person.”
An extra half-hour programme of Celebrity Fame Academy will be shown today at 8.30pm, which will allow viewers to see the remaining students each perform three times.
