Mickey sings his Harte out to win

Mickey Joe Harte from Co. Donegal has won the 'You're A Star' competition and will represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Latvia later this year.

1.3 million votes were cast in the final of the competition and the winner was announced tonight at the Helix in Dublin.

Simon Casey from Offaly was the runner-up.

Mickey will be singing 'We've Got Tonight' when he takes to the stage in Latvia in May.
